Regulations around gas safety can also change over the years, so the size and placement of pipework can change. There are also some more generic questions about the installation process that you can ask that can help you plan how to prepare your family and home before the installation starts;

• How long will the installation take?
• How long will we be without hot water/ central heating?
• Do I need to bleed the radiators before or after the installation?

Asking these few simple questions will help you plan whether you need to make other arrangements whilst the installation takes place. It will also help ensure that your home will be as comfortable as possible during the installation.
